Canada extends travel restrictions for foreigners till Oct 31
With the rising number of Coronavirus cases around the world, Canada has extended their travel restrictions to foreign travelers, whether for tourism or any other purpose, till the 31st of October. Although, there are exceptions made for permanent residents and citizens, foreign workers, immediate family members, international students, and protected persons.
There is a mandatory 14 day quarantine period for anyone entering the country except for those coming to receive medical services within 36 hours of arrival and those invited by Health Minister to help COVID-19 health workers. Other exceptions include members of visiting forces for work, crossing border in trans-border community, and crew members.
