No need for visa to travel to South Africa from these 11 countries
To improve and kickstart tourism in South Africa, the Home Affairs minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi made an announcement at a media briefing on Sunday, October 4th that for 11 countries, travel will be visa-free.
“In line with the commitment of Government to take urgent steps to address the economic and tourism stagnation brought about by the outbreak of Covid-19, visa-free status of citizens from a number of countries and territories has been reinstated.”
The countries that no longer require a visa to enter South Africa include South Korea, Spain, Germany, Italy, Hong Kong, Singapore, UK, USA, Portugal, France, and Iran. But this does not make any changes to the existing regulations that have come into force with the current Covid-19 situation.
