The Scandinavian country, Sweden, is looking forward to welcoming increased Indian visitors next year and is expecting it to further go up in 2022 with new tourism promotion initiatives. Tourism in Sweden took a massive hit with the COVID-19 pandemic and the travel restrictions that followed. Ruth Dolla, the manager for Visit Sweden, spoke about promoting nature experiences and 15 other unique experiences and stays, which will reopen in the coming months, that will encourage arrivals into the country.

"The urge to travel will probably be stronger after the lockdown and we are hoping that international travel from India picks up by the end of 2021 and goes up even more in 2022," she added.
